A Philadelphia native who enjoys experiencing new things, trying the newest restaurants in the area, building community, traveling, engaging in deep conversations about everything and nothing, and keeping up to date with current events of all genres. Arika firmly believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of safety and change, and brings her genuine self to each session in hopes to creating a space that feels safe, warm, and judgement free.

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | PhD Candidate, Drexel University

Arika is the founder and Clinical Director of The Urban Healing Group, offering trauma-informed, culturally competent therapy in Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia area. She provides both in-person and HIPAA compliant virtual sessions. As a PhD candidate in Couple and Family Therapy and Research at Drexel University, Arika integrates the latest evidence based practices and research findings into her clinical work to enhance therapeutic outcomes and foster lasting change.

She combines decades of clinical experience with cutting-edge research to tailor therapy that is both practical and transformative. Her work focuses on collaboration, insight, and skill-building to help clients navigate trauma, relational challenges, and life transitions with resilience.

As founder, Arika also mentors and supervises the team, ensuring all therapists deliver care with integrity, empathy, and culturally responsive practices.
