At the Urban Healing Group we work to provide an array of services, with clinicians specializing in a number of different topics. We offer individual, family and group therapy. We are a space where many families are able to find multiple therapist that meet all of their needs. Our therapist specialize in everything from trauma and identity, to relationships and family patterns. We work to create space for four components of session. Those components are venting or identifying the problem), processing, identifying coping skills, and pinpointing problem solving actions that will assist you in meeting your goals. Our Services

Individual Therapy

Individual sessions focus on the healing work of one person, of any age and span across a number of topics pertaining to the individual’s life. The focus will be on assisting the individual in addressing areas of concern, while taking into consideration how the people and systems around them are influencing their current mental health concerns. These topics can include grief, lifestyle, work stress, mental health diagnosis, family issues, school concerns, etc.

Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy can be held with those in relationships, marriages, partnerships, cohabitating, roommates, etc. These sessions can be focused on coexisting more effectively, building relationships, increasing intimacy, navigate parenting/coparenting, couples who need help separating effectively. The focus is on assessment, understanding problem areas, setting goals, and working to communicate and collaborate effectively to meet the goals of therapy.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a space where people who are experiencing the same concerns create a safe space amongst peers that want to heal and grow in the same ways. It is facilitated by a therapist and is led based on the needs of the group.

Clinical Supervision

Arika Moody, LMFT provides individual and group supervision for clinicians seeking licensure. Supervision focuses on skill-building, providing systemic therapy, professional development, ethics requirements and practices, individualized topics, cultural competence and professionalism.
