Dior Richardson

Dior Richardson is a pre-licensed counselor/therapist committed to working with children and adolescents in the inner city. She has spent the past few years providing case management and life skills training to youth transitioning from the foster care system. Her clinical interests lie in working with teens and young adults who are experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, and issues related to permanency and family matters. 

 

Dior has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. She received her Masters in School Counseling and Mental Health from University of Pennsylvania. She has extensive training in crisis management with a touch of experience in programming. 

 

This young woman's sole focus is to co-establish a safe space for her young clients to process their feelings and emotions. She also utilizes psychoeducation and CBT-based techniques to enhance the well-being and social growth of those clients.
